The “Event” popup menu is used to choose the event type. An MS Project event supports only the “Do script event”. This event is used together with the “Script” field. By entering scripts in MS Project syntax into the “Script” field, you can have MS Project executing these scripts during a simulation. We refer to the MS Project manuals for further information. Note that if you want to include the input value of the event in a script, use the placeholder character ‘…’. [Option-.] DynRisk will then replace the placeholder by the input value before passing the script over to MS Project. You can use as many placeholders as you like in your scripts. Note also that MS Project scripts may contain more than a single line of text. Since MS Project does not return anything back to DynRisk, an MS Project event will always pass on zero to its successors.
